Prospective applicants should note that the above list may be incomplete - new positions frequently open up in new research areas. Qualifications: Student research assistantships are only available to currently enrolled students of European and international universities in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Communications or related subjects. Graduates are not eligible and need not apply. Student research assistants are encouraged to complete their Diploma, Master's or Bachelor's theses during their engagement. In general, the minimum duration of an internship should be at least 4 months. Due to administrative overheads, we only accept internships with a duration of at least 6 months from outside Europe. Prospective applicants should have some of these skills or qualifications: |

familiarity with C, C++, Java (J2SE, J2EE, J2ME), Perl or other programming languages experience with installing and configuring Linux, BSD, Windows operating systems experience with installing and configuring DNS, HTTP, SIP, DHCP or other servers familiarity with basic Internet and communications protocols, such as IP, TCP, UDP, DNS, HTTP, SIP, IEEE 802.11 network administration skills |
